Drawing on our four generations of experience in the jewellery industry, both from our technical manufacturing background and listening to what our customers wanted, helped us to create the ultimate solitaire ring design. --- The Classic six claw solitaire diamond ring has been synonymous with engagements for hundreds of years.  It is an enduring style that shows off the sparkling round diamond.  [![C6R200W](https://blog.gerardmccabe.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Bridal/C6R200W.jpg?width=750&name=C6R200W.jpg)](https://www.gerardmccabe.com.au/engagement-rings/classic-engagement-design/) What we heard from our clients though was that they wanted both a beautiful looking and hardy engagement ring, and a ring that would fit well with their wedding and eternity rings. Typically there are many solitaire engagement rings that won't fit a wedding band flush alongside them. So we came up with a design that did. The Gerard McCabe Classic Engagement ring is designed to fit perfectly with a selection of our wedding and anniversary ring options. This gives the bride-to-be the freedom to create their own unique diamond ring set.
