If you are recently engaged, you might want to consider adding diamonds to your wedding band. Read on to discover what you should consider as you narrow down the options to select your perfect forever ring.
WHY A FANCY CUT DIAMOND WEDDING RING?
Fancy cut diamond engagement rings have become a popular choice amongst our clients over the past couple of years. As with any fashion, engagement ring trends change over time. We have seen a surge of engagement rings featuring emerald, pear and oval-shaped diamonds. To complement these pieces we have added a range of fancy cut diamond wedding rings to our collection. Creating wonderful pieces that will sit beautifully next to engagement rings featuring fancy cut stones.
WHAT CUT OF WEDDING RING WORKS BEST WITH MY ENGAGEMENT RING?
Our consultants are able to guide you in the right direction, our recommendation is to choose something that sits flush next to your engagement ring, regardless of the cut of the diamond. Wedding rings featuring round brilliant diamonds sit wonderfully next to any shape of diamond. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t choose a ring featuring fancy cut diamonds to wear next to your engagement ring, we can customise a wedding band to suit your taste and preferred style.
HALF, THREE QUARTER OR A FULL CIRCLE OF DIAMONDS?
Whether or not your wedding band should feature half, three-quarter or a full circle of diamonds is up to personal choice. Quite often we create designs featuring diamonds that go to the ‘vanishing point’, this means that when your fingers are together the diamonds appear to run all of the way around. This is a comfortable design to wear as the diamonds don’t hit the side of your fingers.
If your preference is a full circle of diamonds we can achieve that for you, there are some ‘full circle’ diamond pieces in our Linea collection. A wedding ring with a full circle of diamonds will endure more wear throughout its lifetime. If you choose this style, we highly recommend that the piece is regularly checked and cleaned in-store. We're happy to do that at any time for you.
WHAT DIAMOND QUALITY SHOULD I CHOOSE?
The diamond quality of our Linea rings is a G colour and a VS clarity, this will look fantastic and is a fabulous place to start. The diamonds in our Linea collection are of top quality grading falling into the colourless range, perfectly complementing all of our diamond engagement rings.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PRICE OF A LINEA WEDDING RING?
Our Linea wedding rings begin at the price of $1,795, with the average price being between $2,500 to $3,000. Extending all the way up to the $15,000 to $20,000 mark for those who would like a large full circle ring that is two carats and beyond.
WHAT IF I WANT COLOURED GEMSTONES IN MY WEDDING RING?
We’re able to cater for a variety of different styles and tastes, if you’d like to add a splash of colour to your wedding ring sapphires, pink sapphires, blue sapphires and rubies always look spectacular, never disappointing. Our settings are built to last the test of time, meticulously crafted in 18-carat yellow, white gold or platinum, to suit your personal preference.

WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER MY RING?
We recommend that you order your wedding ring no later than 3 months prior to your wedding. Depending upon the style that you choose it can take up to 10 weeks before you receive your ring. Some of our Classic bands such as plain gold bands, take between two to three weeks to produce, whilst anything diamond set takes much longer.
